SF Giants extend condolences to Gorkys Hernandez after tragedy in Venezuela

The San Francisco Giants expressed their condolences to former player Gorkys Hernandez following the death of his wife, Deisy Maria Tovar De Hernandez, in recent earthquakes in Venezuela. Last week's devastating 7.2 and 7.5 magnitude earthquakes resulted in nearly a thousand deaths and left many injured. Hernandez took to Instagram to share his grief and dedication to honoring his late wife. Those wishing to assist earthquake recovery efforts are encouraged to donate to various organizations, including Chef José Andrés' World Central Kitchen, which is providing immediate aid. The Giants are set to continue their series against the Arizona Diamondbacks this evening at 6:40 p.m. PT.
