Sha'Carri Richardson, Kenny Bednarek win events at LA Grand Prix

The 2026 USATF LA Grand Prix took place on June 14 in Los Angeles, featuring strong performances in several track events. Sha'Carri Richardson won the women's 100m with a time of 10.99 seconds. Kenny Bednarek secured victory in the men's 100m, finishing in 9.72 seconds. Other notable results included Masai Russell winning the women's 100m hurdles in 12.26 seconds and Jamal Britt claiming the men's 110m hurdles with a time of 12.99 seconds. Ja’Kobe Tharp broke a world record during the meet, witnessed by the previous record holder, Aries Merritt.
