Shane Edginton captures NLRA season points title at River Cities Speedway

MotorsportsShane Edginton clinched the NLRA season points title Thursday night at River Cities Speedway in Grand Forks. Finishing fourth in the 30-lap feature event, Edginton entered the final race with a four-point lead over Dustin Strand to secure the championship. Dave Mass claimed victory in the feature, overtaking A.J. Diemel on the back straightaway with two laps remaining. The race served as a lead-in to the 20th annual John Seitz Late Model Memorial, which began Thursday with 64 drivers in attendance. Additional feature winners included Landyn Randt in Midwest modifieds, Joe Thomas in modifieds, and Cole Greseth in the streets class. Competitors will now prepare for the remainder of the three-day Seitz weekend, which concludes Saturday with a 92-lap main event.
