Shaquille O’Neal opens Big Chicken at Jackson State University

Shaquille O’Neal's Big Chicken restaurant brand will open its first location at a historically black college, Jackson State University, on September 22. Located in the student center, the restaurant will replace Chick-fil-A and offer chicken sandwiches, tenders, wings, and other menu items. The announcement came in August as part of Jackson State’s collaboration with SodexoMagic to enhance campus dining options. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held on September 18 to commemorate the opening. This move marks O’Neal's continued expansion of his business ventures post-NBA career.
