Shavezz Dixon commits to North Carolina Tar Heels

Offensive lineman Shavezz Dixon has announced his commitment to the North Carolina Tar Heels, choosing them over other finalists, including the Florida State Seminoles, Pittsburgh Panthers, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, and Virginia Cavaliers. Dixon, a three-star recruit from Leesburg, Georgia, had been targeted by FSU since January after receiving a scholarship offer. He has been ranked as the No. 593 overall player and No. 37 interior offensive lineman in the 247Sports composite. The Seminoles are still seeking their first offensive line commitment for the 2027 recruiting cycle, as other targets have also committed elsewhere recently.
