"Shawn Porter joins Fight Hub TV and shares his perspective on the upcoming British heavyweight clash between Tyson Fury vs Anthony Joshua, but also talks about some other fights in the works between Oleksandr Usyk and Deontay Wilder, Ryan Garcia and Teofimo Lopez, and more. Here’s some of what he had to say below. Porter on the Fury vs AJ matchup “I think Tyson Fury wins that fight. I feel like there wasn’t truly that many scenarios where I saw Anthony Joshua beating Tyson Fury. There’s definitely bias there, definitely a lot of fandom there for me. Personally, I’ve always felt like Tyson was the ‘it’ in the heavyweight division. At the risk of calling out Usyk, I believe those fights would have gone different had Tyson Fury not had the three fights with Deontay Wilder…I think for Usyk, it was timing. “So, Usyk got Tyson Fury at the best time but with that all being said…AJ, he has lost a step. Tyson Fury has lost a step as well but when you’re already three steps ahead and that person lost a step, we’ll you’re four steps ahead. Well, I lost a step — I’m still three steps ahead of you. So, that’s how I see this fight. “I don’t think he knocks out AJ but I think he out-hustles him, I think he out-boxes him, I think he out-styles him.” On Oleksandr Usyk being lined up to face Deontay Wilder “This is kind of like flipped upside down for a second, huh. But, again, let’s remember this — those four guys are guys that are literally ending their careers, they’re not in the middle. They’re signing off.” On a Ryan Garcia vs Teofimo Lopez fight in the works “That fight should be happening Cinco de Mayo weekend, not a moment sooner…I think Ryan Garcia beats Teofimo Lopez. Teo’s good, Teo sits back on the back foot. Ryan’s a great leadoff hitter, bringing that right hand behind it, he’s swinging a left early and often. I don’t know, man. Teo’s going to have to have some tricks. I haven’t seen tricks from Teo in a long time.”
