Unless time gets added to her current deal, it will expire before the end of the year. AEW has serious interest in bringing her in, and have discussed as much internally for some time now. WWE will make a big play for her, however, and Fightful notes some feel her negotiations could very well help shape how WWE contracts are structured moving forward. AEW, of course, has Mercedes Mone. It will be interesting to see how this story shapes up in the months to come. Other rumors floating around WrestleVotes notes that Nick Aldis’ match at SummerSlam with GUNTHER is a one-and-done but the door isn’t closed on his having an actual run sometime down the road. They do not know, however, what led to his deal expiring later than anyone thought, though it could be due to injury time being added. Either way, any idea of his going to AEW or elsewhere in the near future will have to be put on hold.
