Sheffield Wednesday has signed defender Ricardo Santos from Swansea City on a one-year deal for an undisclosed fee. This move marks the club's first signing since being taken out of administration following a takeover by US consortium Arise Capital Partners in May. Santos, who joined Swansea from Bolton last summer, made only one appearance for the club before this transfer. He previously played five seasons with Bolton, where he was capped by Cape Verde last season. The deal includes an option for an additional year.
