Sheffield Wednesday has acquired goalkeeper Ashley Maynard-Brewer on a one-year contract. The 27-year-old, who was a free agent after leaving Dundee United earlier this summer, has made a total of 12 appearances for Dundee United last season following his transfer in January. Sporting director Simon Wilson expressed confidence in Maynard-Brewer's ability to enhance the team's goalkeeping options as they approach the new season. He joins Connal Trueman, who was signed just a day earlier.
