Sheffield Wednesday signs Manchester City midfielder Jaden Heskey on season-long loan

Sheffield Wednesday has secured Manchester City midfielder Jaden Heskey on a season-long loan deal. The 20-year-old midfielder returns to the club after previously completing a loan spell there during the second half of the last campaign. During his initial stint with the Owls, Heskey made 20 Championship appearances. The midfielder is the son of former England international Emile Heskey and made his senior debut for Manchester City in the EFL Cup last season. Sporting director Simon Wilson stated that the club believes the addition will complement their existing midfield group. The transaction was finalized in time for Heskey to be available for selection in Tuesday's League One fixture against Wycombe Wanderers.
