Kasey Kahne and James McFadden also qualified for the A-main, with Kahne securing an eighth-place finish in his main event and McFadden finishing as the runner-up in his prelim. This year marks Kahne's first time driving for his team at the Nationals after previously competing with other teams. Drivers will continue to compete in the upcoming A-main final scheduled for Saturday.
