Sheldon van der Linde earns IMSA GTP win at Indianapolis

Sheldon van der Linde secured his first IMSA GTP victory at Indianapolis Motor Speedway in a dramatic finish. With just minutes left in the race, van der Linde executed a late overtake on Earl Bamber in the No. 31 Cadillac Whelen. Bamber, who was sharing driving duties with Jack Aitken, managed to finish second, maintaining Aitken's substantial lead in the GTP championship standings. In the LMP2 class, Christian Rasmussen won for Era Motorsport, having been a late call-up to the race. Next, teams will prepare for the season finale at Petit Le Mans in early October.
