Shohei Ohtani continues live pitching recovery with Dodgers

Shohei Ohtani participated in live pitching for the Los Angeles Dodgers on August 22. Dodgers manager Dave Roberts expressed optimism about Ohtani's progress and noted that the two-way star threw about 30 pitches against six hitters. While Ohtani has not pitched in an MLB game since July 3 due to knee inflammation, Roberts indicated the injury is behind them. He mentioned that Ohtani is expected to undergo further tests and might incorporate more live batting practice before returning to regular pitching activity. The Dodgers' rotation has seen recent improvements, with the addition of Tarik Skubal and the expected return of Tyler Glasnow soon.
