Shohei Ohtani finishes fourth in NL Cy Young voting amid strong competition

Shohei Ohtani of the Los Angeles Dodgers is currently in fourth place in the National League Cy Young Award voting, according to MLB.com's latest poll. Ohtani has a strong 1.47 ERA and 78 strikeouts over 73.2 innings this season, but has made three fewer starts than the leading candidate, Jacob Misiorowski of the Milwaukee Brewers, who is the favorite with 29 first-place votes. Despite his impressive statistics, Ohtani is also balancing his role as the Dodgers’ starting DH, which complicates his Cy Young bid. He may, however, still be in line to claim his fifth MVP award this season.
