Ferran Torres has sparked transfer speculation after remarks during a media tour in the United States. The Barcelona forward, under contract until June 2027, mentioned needing a show of commitment from the club to remain, stating, "Show me they want me, come to negotiate." Torres is coming off a significant World Cup performance and is considering his options with the possibility of negotiating with other clubs from January. Barcelona will discuss his future when he returns to training on August 12, but sources indicate they prefer to postpone formal negotiations until September to manage financial constraints.
- •Torres scored the winning goal for Spain in the recent World Cup final.
- •He has played 207 matches for Barcelona, with 45% as a substitute.
- •Barcelona has not received formal offers for Torres from other clubs.
- •Negotiations with Torres may wait until after the transfer window closes.
- •PSG is reportedly monitoring Torres' situation closely.
