Sidney Rice ranks No. 19 on Independence Bowl All-Time Team

Sidney Rice, former South Carolina wide receiver, has been ranked 19th on the Independence Bowl's 50th Anniversary All-Time Team. Rice's performance in the 2005 I-Bowl, where he set single-game records with 12 receptions for 191 yards and a touchdown, was highlighted in the announcement. He was instrumental in South Carolina's success over his two seasons, finishing with 23 career touchdowns, a school record at the time. Rice went on to play in the NFL, where he became a Pro Bowl receiver and a Super Bowl champion with the Seattle Seahawks. The Independence Bowl will continue to unveil its top players as it celebrates its milestone anniversary.
