Silvio Baldini returns as head coach of Italy U21 team

The FIGC announced that Silvio Baldini has resumed his role as head coach of the Italy U21 side following a brief stint as interim coach of the senior team. Baldini had led the U21s in two friendlies earlier this summer against Luxembourg and Greece, utilizing predominantly U21 players. The FIGC also confirmed its entire coaching staff for Italy's youth teams, with Andrea Barzagli continuing as Baldini's assistant. Carmine Nunziata remains as head coach for the U20s, and Massimiliano Favo has taken over the U19s. Gianfranco Zola was appointed as Italy’s Youth Activities Project Co-ordinator.
