Simon Hetrick wins Gatorade Tennessee Boys Soccer Player of the Year

Ravenwood midfielder Simon Hetrick has been awarded the 2025-26 Gatorade Tennessee Boys Soccer Player of the Year, following a strong performance in the recently concluded season. Hetrick scored 11 goals and provided eight assists, playing a pivotal role in leading Ravenwood to its first state championship by defeating Bearden in penalty kicks. His efforts earned him the District 10-AAA Midfielder of the Year accolade. In addition to his athletic achievements, Hetrick maintained a 4.32 weighted GPA and engaged in community service, which are both criteria for the award. His recognition positions him for consideration for the national Gatorade Boys Soccer Player of the Year award.
