Six Evansville-area teams win IHSAA sectional baseball titles

On June 1, six baseball teams from the Evansville area clinched IHSAA sectional championships. The No. 3 North team secured the Class 4A title with a 7-1 victory over Reitz at Bosse Field. North overcame a fiercely competitive semifinal against Castle to advance. Key players included Carson Frome, who pitched six innings allowing only one run, and Brooks Carroll, who contributed three hits. The Huskies performed strongly on the basepaths, stealing eight bases in the championship.
