Sloane May earns Gatorade Indiana Player of the Year honor

Sloane May of Hamilton Southeastern High School has been named the Gatorade Indiana girls soccer player of the year as of June 19, 2026. The senior, who led her team to a 22-0-1 record and a Class 3A state championship win over Carmel, scored 15 goals and recorded 17 assists last season. This achievement marks the first state title for the Hamilton Southeastern girls soccer team. May, who also received the Indiana Soccer Coaches Association Player of the Year award, had initially committed to play at Michigan before switching to Indiana University earlier this year.
