What they're saying
"

When WWE booked AAA Tag Team Champions The War Raiders to take on WWE Tag Team Champions Damian Priest & R-Truth on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown in Green Bay, they made it a winner take all. That meant we were guaranteed a title change, with the idea that this is another promotional tactic to draw yet more attention to AAA. But this is WWE, where nothing has to mean anything and you can just book your way out of it in the lamest way possible. Both teams ended up putting their hands on the referee, so the match was thrown out. They called it a disqualification on the broadcast but the reality is it doesn’t matter. Neither title changed hands, and there was never any reason to bother with this to begin with. As it turns out, they made it a vehicle for the Tonga boys to hit the scene and make their presence felt: THIS IS CRAZY 🤯 Talla Tonga and Tama Tonga are WRECKING both Damian Priest and R-Truth and The War Raiders! pic.twitter.com/Ar4RaIS3bT — WWE (@WWE) August 1, 2026 The legendary Haku, who appeared a segment before in a backstage segment hyping his boys, was out alongside them. We may actually be getting him as a regular presence on TV in a managerial role. That certainly helps make up for the lame finish we got to this title match. Right?!?
