Washington Huskies sophomore Sofia Cosculluela achieved a program milestone by winning the NCAA heptathlon championship on Saturday. After starting in fifth place following the first day of competition, she excelled in her strongest events on Saturday. Cosculluela set a school record in the long jump with a leap of 21-4 3/4 and finished second in the javelin, securing an overall lead.
