Somto Okafor, an incoming freshman for UCLA, earned the MVP award at the FIBA U18 Women’s EuroBasket held in Sweden. Okafor played a key role in helping Team Spain secure the gold medal, averaging 15.3 points, 4.9 rebounds, and 1.4 steals per game while shooting 51% from the field. Her performance was marked by notable efficiency, including a 48% shooting rate from three-point range. Alongside Okafor, several of her UCLA teammates participated in other EuroBasket events, with varying degrees of success.
