Sonny Gray leads Red Sox to victory over Yankees at Yankee Stadium
Summary

The Boston Red Sox secured a 5-2 win against the New York Yankees on Friday night at Yankee Stadium. Sonny Gray pitched 6.1 innings, allowing three runs on eight hits in his first game against his former team. The Yankees scored first with a home run by Ben Rice, but the Red Sox responded with two runs in the third inning and never looked back. Gray's performance supported Boston's road record, which contrasts with their struggles at home. The two teams will face off again on Saturday night, with Ranger Suarez starting for the Red Sox and Will Warren for the Yankees.
