Sonora Rally introduces new three-day format and training schools for 2027

The Sonora Rally will feature a streamlined three-day format in 2027, taking place from February 11 to 14 in San Luis Río Colorado, Sonora, Mexico. Competitors will race from a single bivouac to reduce logistics while maintaining the traditional challenges of the event. Additionally, Sonora Rally Schools will return from December 4 to 6, 2026, offering structured training for both newcomers and experienced racers. This initiative aims to provide accessible training while keeping the essence of rally raid intact, with pathways to events like Dakar Rally for participants.
