On the first day of the inaugural women's Test at Lord's, England dismissed India for 285 runs. India had a strong start with 89-run partnerships involving Smriti Mandhana and Harmanpreet Kaur, but collapsed towards the end of their innings, losing their last four wickets for just 11 runs. England closed the day at 21-1 in response, trailing by 264 runs, headed into day two of the match.
