Sophie Unwin and pilot Jenny Holl successfully defended their European Para-cycling road race title at the 2026 UEC Para-cycling Road European Championships in Italy. The duo, who previously won gold at the 2024 Paris Paralympics, overcame a narrow time trial defeat to Ireland's Katie-George Dunlevy and Linda Kelly to emerge victorious in the road race. In total, Great Britain claimed 18 medals, including three golds at the event.
