Souderton softball coach Tyler Bui leads team to historic playoff run

Tyler Bui, the Bucks County Courier Times Softball Coach of the Year, has guided Souderton Area High School to a memorable playoff run. Under his leadership, Souderton finished the season with a 19–4 record, only losing to two teams during regular play. Bui's strategic decisions were crucial, after losing starting pitcher Skylar Byrnes due to injury. Bui chose freshman Katie Straub and sophomore Madi Mott to take the mound, successfully leading the team to their first District One Class 6A championship appearance since 2006. Although Souderton's playoff journey ended in a close match against Central Dauphin, Bui emphasized the importance of fostering a positive culture among his players.
