South Carolina women's basketball hosts six recruits for fall visits

South Carolina women's basketball coach Dawn Staley is set to host six Class of 2027 recruits for official visits this fall. The list of prospects includes five-star point guards GG Banks and Ashley MacCalla, five-star wing Jordyn Palmer, four-star guard Taylor Brown, five-star center Zaniya Johnson, and four-star point guard Kaylor Buse. The program expects to see roster turnover following the current season due to the impending departure of several veteran players, including Ashlyn Watkins, Chloe Kitts, and Brooke Quarles Daniels. While the team will return a deep group of forwards and guards for the 2027-28 season, Staley aims to add two or three high school talents to the roster through these upcoming recruiting visits.
