South Dakota Coyotes move to 2-0 after defeating Northern Colorado

The South Dakota Coyotes improved their season record to 2-0 following a 38-23 victory over Northern Colorado on Friday in Greeley. South Dakota controlled the contest by generating nearly 400 total yards of offense, including a significant 214-111 advantage in the rushing game. Quarterback Austyn Modrzewski guided the offense by passing for 178 yards and two touchdowns. On the ground, running back Charles Pierre Jr. contributed two rushing scores. The South Dakota defense held the Northern Colorado offense in check throughout the game to secure the win. Following this road victory, South Dakota returns home to the DakotaDome on September 12th for a game against Eastern Washington.
