South Dakota women's basketball announces 2026-27 non-conference schedule

The South Dakota women's basketball team has unveiled its non-conference schedule for the 2026-27 season, featuring five repeat opponents from the previous year and five newcomers. The Coyotes will face NAIA York (NE), UTRGV, Idaho State, Valparaiso, and Bradley again, following a successful 4-1 record against them last season. They will also meet Nebraska Wesleyan, North Florida, Abilene Christian, NAIA Waldorf, and Lindenwood for the first time. The season includes two neutral site games against Creighton and Abilene Christian, and a matchup against Idaho State as part of the Big Sky-Summit League Challenge. South Dakota had a notable 2025-26 season, reaching the WNIT Fab Four following a 26-10 record under head coach Carrie Eighmey.
