South Korean athletes criticize cramped beds at Japan's Asian Games

Ahead of the Asian Games in Nagoya, South Korean athletes have voiced significant dissatisfaction with their accommodations, specifically the wooden container huts designed to house around 2,000 participants. Concerns have emerged regarding the size of the beds, particularly for taller athletes who find it difficult to stretch out. The delegation has reported issues like leaking pipes and inadequate space. While more than 17,000 athletes and officials are expected, initial plans only anticipated 15,000, leading to overcrowding and accommodation challenges. The Games officially start on Saturday and will run until October 4.
