Southampton signs goalkeeper George Long from Norwich City

Southampton has completed the permanent signing of goalkeeper George Long from Norwich City. The 32-year-old has signed a two-year contract at St Mary's Stadium after spending last season on loan with the club. Long served as cover for the regular goalkeepers and made one appearance in the FA Cup. His experience includes over 300 career games across several UK clubs. This signing follows that of Daniel Peretz, who also made a loan spell permanent recently.
