Southern Fulton has been removed from the PIAA Class 1A baseball playoffs, according to reports. The team was initially the No. 1 seed from District 5 after defeating Northern Bedford 4-1 in the district championship on May 28. Following a hearing on May 31 regarding player eligibility, Northern Bedford is now set to play Homer Center from District 6 at 7 p.m. at McConnellsburg High School. Southern Fulton won the state championship in 2025, and head coach Kent Hendershot recently received recognition as Coach of the Year for 2024-25.
