Southern Miss baseball begins transfer portal moves ahead of 2027 season

Southern Miss baseball is entering the transfer portal as they prepare for the 2027 season. After finishing the 2026 campaign with a 44-17 record and winning the Sun Belt regular season and tournament titles, the Golden Eagles were eliminated in the NCAA Tournament regionals. The transfer portal opened June 1 and will remain active until June 30. Coach Christian Ostrander is working to reshape the roster. Sophomore pitcher Jake Neely and freshman Camden Rodgers have both announced their intentions to transfer.
