The University of Southern Mississippi's football stadium is officially renamed Renasant Stadium after approval from the Mississippi Institutions of Higher Learning Board of Trustees on August 20, 2026. The naming-rights deal with Renasant Bank will see the bank pay $13.7 million over a term of nearly ten years. Payments will start at $500,000 in the first year, increasing to $1.3 million in the second year, then rising annually thereafter. This is the first corporate naming agreement for the stadium, which has been named M.M. Roberts Stadium since its inception in 1976. The deal takes effect on August 21, 2026, and runs through June 30, 2036.
