Space Coast seeks SSAA championship redemption after 2025 semifinal exit

Space Coast Jr./Sr. High kicks off their season on August 13 against Satellite, aiming to reclaim the SSAA state championship. Following a 2025 semifinal loss to American Heritage, the Vipers return a robust senior class with 18-20 seniors, including key players like junior quarterback Zion Sandy. Sandy is poised for a standout year, having accounted for nearly 3,000 total yards last season. The Vipers' offense, which averaged 33.2 points per game, also features freshman running back Charlie Williams, who has potential to set rushing records. Defensively, Space Coast retains senior EJ Clouser among other returning starters as they aim to improve from last season's average of 13 points allowed per game.
