Sparks hold topping out ceremony for new training facility in Los Angeles

The Los Angeles Sparks hosted a topping out ceremony for their new $150 million training facility on August 26, 2026. Players and coaches attended the event as the final beam was placed atop the structure, marking a significant milestone in its construction. The facility, designed with player input, will include two WNBA regulation courts, a weight and training room, hydrotherapy and spa suites, and wellness rooms. Sparks President Stacy Johns emphasized the importance of having a dedicated home, as many women's sports teams do not own their practice facilities. The opening of the facility is expected prior to the 2027 season.
