Spencer Strider exits game with injury as Braves lose to Mets

On June 12, the Atlanta Braves lost to the New York Mets 7-5 in New York. Starting pitcher Spencer Strider struggled and exited in the fourth inning due to shoulder and elbow soreness, with an MRI likely pending. This latest injury compounds the Braves' challenges, especially following Strider's recent velocity drop. Hurston Waldrep was activated from the injured list and assigned to Triple-A Gwinnett, while Drake Baldwin begins a rehab stint with Gwinnett this weekend.
