San Antonio Spurs forward Tobias Harris has been ruled out for the season opener against the Oklahoma City Thunder on Tuesday night at Frost Bank Center. Harris missed all five preseason games due to a left calf strain sustained during training camp. Coach Mitch Johnson mentioned that while Harris is improving, he needs more practice time before returning to the court. The Spurs are otherwise healthy, while Thunder players Jalen Williams and Ajay Mitchell are set to play after recovering from injuries sustained in last season's playoffs. Johnson also highlighted new assistant coach Billy Donovan's experience as a key asset for the team this season.
