The St. Louis Blues are set to begin the 2026-27 NHL season with a fresh outlook under new captain Robert Thomas and general manager Alex Steen. After missing the playoffs by four points last season, the team made significant roster changes, trading leading scorer Jordan Kyrou and bringing in new talent like Connor McMichael and Mason McTavish. The Blues struggled with special teams last year, finishing 26th on the power play and 25th on the penalty kill. Young players such as Jimmy Snuggerud and Jake Neighbours are expected to play a crucial role as the team looks to become more competitive this season. With various lineup projections, the Blues aim to strengthen both their top and bottom lines.
