St. Thomas Aquinas wins in overtime during Seacoast area athletic contests

Charlotte Kelly scored an overtime goal to lead St. Thomas Aquinas to a 2-1 Division II field hockey victory over Hollis-Brookline on Tuesday. In other field hockey action, Oyster River defeated Milford 2-0, Portsmouth Christian Academy beat Epping 3-1, and Newmarket topped Pittsfield 6-1. Girls soccer results included Winnacunnet’s 4-0 win against Salem, Exeter’s 2-0 shutout over Dover, and a 4-0 boys soccer win for Epping over Portsmouth Christian Academy. Salem’s boys soccer team also secured a 3-1 win against Winnacunnet, while Oyster River posted a 5-0 shutout victory against Merrimack Valley. At the Nippo Lake Golf Club, Oyster River claimed the top team score of 192 during a four-team Division II golf match. The local schedule continues as teams compete through their respective divisional seasons.
