Stas Korzeniowski scores in Rhode Island FC draw against Louisville City FC

Newcomer Stas Korzeniowski recorded his first goal for Rhode Island in his initial start, connecting on a chip pass from Jojea Kwizera in the 48th minute. Louisville City FC opened the scoring earlier in the match when Sean Totsch converted a penalty kick following a handball by Grant Stoneman. Rhode Island remains inside the Eastern Conference playoff cutoff with 29 points following the result. Head coach Khano Smith noted the difficulty in breaking down the Louisville defense, despite his team pressing for a second goal throughout the second half.
