Statistician Justin Ray joins U.S. team for Solheim Cup at Bernardus Golf Club

Justin Ray returns for his third consecutive Solheim Cup as a statistics consultant for the U.S. team. He is currently at Bernardus Golf Club in Cromvoirt, Netherlands, where he provides data analysis to support players and captain Angela Stanford. Ray uses his experience from the 2023 and 2024 editions of the event to help the Americans navigate the course and competitive challenges. To build trust with the team, he participates in off-course activities and maintains an approachable presence in the team room. The U.S. team seeks its first victory on European soil since 2015, having previously won there in 1996, 2007, and 2015. Ray, who sports a tattoo of the trophy, intends to continue his role as a resource for the staff and athletes throughout the tournament.
