The Pittsburgh Steelers hosted a workout for wide receiver Ben Patterson on Monday. Patterson, who played college football at the University of Texas Permian Basin, had a standout 2025 season with 32 catches for 678 yards and five touchdowns. Although Patterson went undrafted in 2026, he briefly signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars before being waived a week ago. The Steelers have been active in reshaping their receiving corps during training camp and have not signed Patterson immediately following the tryout.
