Steelers host wide receivers Cornell Powell and Isaiah Winstead for workouts

The Pittsburgh Steelers conducted workouts for free agent wide receivers Cornell Powell and Isaiah Winstead on August 7 during training camp. This move comes after the team claimed two players off waivers and is part of their efforts to strengthen their receiving corps. Powell, a 2021 fifth-round pick by the Kansas City Chiefs, has not made any catches in his NFL career thus far. Winstead, undrafted in 2023, previously played for the San Francisco 49ers and had an impressive season in 2022, recording over 1,000 receiving yards and six touchdowns. The Steelers will continue to evaluate their options as training camp progresses.
