Stefano Pioli confirms Roma interest before joining Al Nassr

Stefano Pioli acknowledged an approach from AS Roma before he committed to Al Nassr. Pioli, who previously won a Scudetto with AC Milan, made his debut at Al Nassr on September 20, 2024. Roma had been experiencing managerial instability, changing coaches four times between 2023 and 2025. Following the dismissal of Daniele De Rossi, they appointed Ivan Juric as their new manager just days before Pioli's contract with Al Nassr.
