Stefon Diggs expresses interest in joining Commanders for 2026 season

Stefon Diggs has indicated a desire to return to the Washington Commanders, potentially reuniting with his hometown team. The four-time Pro Bowler, currently a free agent after an investigation into his conduct concluded, discussed his interest in playing for the Commanders during an interview with Fox 5 DC. Diggs, who has ties to the area through his Maryland upbringing and college career, led the New England Patriots last season with 85 catches and over 1,000 receiving yards. His addition could provide the Commanders with much-needed receiving depth as they evaluate their roster ahead of the upcoming season.
