ESPN analyst Stephen A. Smith asserted that the Dallas Cowboys possess a roster strong enough to secure the NFC East division title. Smith credited owner Jerry Jones for assembling talent-rich personnel, specifically highlighting wide receiver CeeDee Lamb and quarterback Dak Prescott. While noting that the secondary remains a potential weakness, Smith pointed to additions such as edge rusher Rashan Gary, linebacker Dee Winters, and defensive linemen Kenny Clark and Quinnen Williams as improvements to the front seven. He projected that the team could achieve 12 or 13 wins this season. The analyst warned that despite the favorable roster construction, the team remains under pressure to meet high expectations. The focus now shifts toward head coach Mike McCarthy and defensive coordinator Christian Parker to manage the roster and integrate new additions effectively.
