Steven Kwan's five-hit performance fuels Guardians' comeback against Angels

In a late-game surge on August 25, 2026, Steven Kwan recorded five hits, helping the Cleveland Guardians mount a comeback against the Los Angeles Angels at Angel Stadium. Despite a rocky start where the Guardians loaded the bases with no outs but did not score, Kwan's offensive explosion revitalized the team. The game highlighted a turnaround after Gavin Williams struggled early, leading to a prolonged battle that extended into the early morning hours. The Guardians navigate through injury challenges as well, with pitcher Shane Bieber placed on the injured list due to a shoulder issue.
